A sequence of increasingly challenging postures that link breath with dynamic movement, building strength, flexibility and focus. This is a led Primary Series class with adjustments and modifications making it suitable for all abilities.
Free car parking is available outside the gym.
These classes are suitable for all ages and abilities. Usually starting with breathwork and warm up postures. Then using the breath to flow through standing and seated asanas (yoga postures). Modifications and props are used so that each student can get maximum benefit from their own practice. You will be given cues to focus on physical alignment and breathing techniques to work on body, breath and mind. The class finishes with relaxation and savasana.
Classes are held in PG Club (the outbuilding in the playground to the right of the main reception). Please park on the surrounding streets as the car park is for school staff only.
One to one and small groups
One to one and small group sessions are perfect for many situations. Perhaps you are a beginner who would like to learn correct technique without the distraction of a larger class. You may be an experienced practitioner who would like to progress your technique or focus on certain postures. Private lessons also suit students who are recovering from injury or illness and would like a programme tailor made to suit their specific needs and aid their recovery. Some students simply feel more comfortable in a one to one setting or would like to practice with a small group of friends. Please contact Catherine directly to discuss your requirements.
Children and schools
Schools yoga (pre-schools and primary schools)
Weekly classes or full day workshops can be arranged to suit the school’s requirements. Catherine teaches schools PE lessons or PSHE in close collaboration with the school to ensure learning objectives are met and that each child is able to fully engage. Please contact Catherine directly to discuss your requirements. (Enhanced DBS, fully insured and paediatric first aid qualified).
Family yoga
A child-centred class which offers the perfect opportunity for family bonding and exercise. Express your own inner child and spend quality fun time with your family. With plenty of simple, fun postures for you to take away and practice at home.

Corporate
Long hours, desk jobs, commuting and irregular eating habits can all contribute to a stressed workforce. Yoga at work can improve staff retention, increase motivation and help to bring the team together. Investing in corporate wellbeing makes perfect sense. Classes can be taught in the morning or lunchtimes, in a designated room with mats or chair yoga in the work space. Choose from a regular session or monthly/quarterly sessions.
